Itinerary

A drive in a private vehicle from Kathmandu leads us towards Nagarkot in the morning and the vehicle stops at the Club Himalaya Hotel. Below this hotel, there is a small walking trail which cuts across the hillside and takes us towards Rhonnie Bhangyang. Fantastic view of the Panckhal valley can be seen on the left hand side of the trial. If the weather is clear, splendid view of the mid Himalaya including the top of the world, Mt. Everest can also be seen.

The trail further follows the rugged little used jeep track until we reach Rhonnie Bhanjyang.

This is a flat spot of land. There are also a couple of farm houses there. From this village, the trail leads us straight until we reach the foothill of a hill. We need to climb this short sharp hill and reach an intersection with another jeep track. From this place, the trail turns left and follows this road along the ridge. We head through this road for about a kilometer until we reach a small trail which takes us down into the next valley. We descend through this route and along the way we pass through the beautiful villages of Kankre and Tanchok.

From Tanchok, the trail further leads us to yet another jeep track and the trail further ascends for around a kilometer to reach the village of Tusal. From Tusal, we take a right turn to the Larsish town of Opi from where the trail leads directly to Dhulikhel. Dhulikhel lies in the Arniko Highway and is 1 km away from the main town of Dhulikhel. From there, we finally reach the Himalayan Horizons Hotel. We will have our dinner there and we drive back to Kathmandu. You can also opt to end the Nagarkot hike at Nala or Banepa to make it 1 hour shorter. Please do feel free to contact us to make another journey with our team.
